It seems too good to be true! After renting this fine motorcycle at Cruise America on June 6, 2002, here I am at the famous corner of of Hyde and Lombard Streets in San Francisco. Needless to say, I'm a little psyched at this point thinking about the epic adventure that awaits me over the next several days. This is the location of the 'world's most crooked street.' It's also one incredible view with Coit Tower and Russian Hill behind me and Alcatraz and the Golden Gate bridge to my right. After this picture is taken, I proceeded across the Golden Gate Bridge and took a quick 140 mile romp through Marin County for my first afternoon of riding. |
