Just after I left San Francisco that morning, I started to notice a lot of Harleys with tents and sleeping bags bungied to the back of their bikes. As I got farther up the coast, I saw an increasing number of bikes. Turns out this was a giant annual motorcycle rally called the Redwood Run. This is a camping spot along a river bed in Piercy. Note all the tents with Harleys parked next to them. This was only a small fraction of the people who attended.
