These photos were taken when my son and I visited Nevada and California in August 2003. The original intent of this page was so that my friends could vote on which picture to submit for photo contest at work:

Frontier photo contest judges. These are the Alabama Hills in the shadow of Mt. Whitney and Kings Canyon National 
Park as viewed from the Owens Valley near Lone Pine California. This is a favorite Hollywood movie making location 
as hundreds of pictures were filmed here over the years.

viewed from the Lake Mead National recreation area. Lake Mead was formed as the result of damming the Colorado 
River with the Hoover Dam.

This is one of the two photos I should submit. Mono Lake National Recreation Area near Lee Vining, California, 
which is near the entrance to Yosemite National Park. High Plains Drifter was filmed on this lake! Go Clint!

This isn't one of the photos for the contest. I just threw it in to show how awesome it was to be 4-wheeling through the
